Joburg’s City Power has announced that certain areas in Roodepoort will be affected by essential maintenance work on Friday, 5 August.
The areas that will be affected are: Florida Glen, Delarey, Bergbron, Whiteridge and Industria North. The power interruption will run from 7am to 5pm.
According to a statement from City Power, the power interruption is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work on the network as part of their programme of constantly striving to provide a better service.
As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
