Trinityhouse unveils the Little Falls High School

LITTLE FALLS – Trinityhouse unveils its high school building and completes the trinity of schools in Little Falls.

After many years of sharing with the Preparatory School, the Trinityhouse High School Little Falls building was finally unveiled.

The high school pupils, grade 6s and 7s, principals of the high school, staff and the Advtech education resourcing group were present at a special ceremony on 22 July.

Principal of the high school, Lynne Davis, addressed the crowd and reminded the pupils of the strong Christian ethos that the school abides by and the pillars of knowledge and truth the school stands on.

In a symbolic gesture, the prefect executives released blue, red and yellow balloons into the air to represent the school placing itself in God’s hands. The high school choir, led by Esté Meerkotter, led the school in the school hymn and entertained the audience with a few multi-lingual songs.

Roy Douglas, CEO of the Advtech Group, had the honour of the cutting the ribbon and unveiling of the official school plaque.

Alex Isaakidis, CEO of Advtech Schools’ Division, wished the first Grade 12 class, at Trinityhouse Little Falls, luck for the upcoming exams and congratulated the principals, Davis and senior deputy principal David Brown, on their achievements thus far.

“This is also a special school because it is the first site to be built in red brick, which has now become the standard look for all Trinityhouse schools,” Isaakidis said.

Cake and refreshments were served to all guests and pupils in celebration after the ceremony.
