City to City bus up in flames

Bus burns in Bosmont

A City to City bus caught fire yesterday morning 14 July, on Griffith Road in Bosmont.

It is unclear what caused the fire; however, ER24 paramedics were swiftly on scene to assess the situation.

They treated the bus driver, who fortunately did not need to go to hospital. There were no passengers in the bus at the time of the incident.

Paramedics also checked on the family living in the house the bus had been parked in front of as it burned. They found the family well and in no need of medical assistance.
