Weltevreden Park without water

WELTEVREDEN PARK - A burst pipe causes residents to be without water for two days.

Without water again. Residents from Weltevreden Park have taken to social media to question why the suburb has been without water 6 July.

According to the residents, the water came back briefly yesterday, but it went out again. Last Thursday residents of Ouhout Avenue, closest to the corner of Without Street, said that they are still without water and they have not been told what caused the water cut. Residents were urged to log a call to Johannesburg Water.

Tidimalo Chuene, marketing and communications manager of Johannesburg Water said that she would like to inform residents that a burst pipe was reported and it is affecting water supply in Weltevreden Park. “A repairs team has been dispatched to investigate and repair the problem,” said Chuene.

According to JW, water is expected to be restored shortly.
