Eleven people were injured this morning after a taxi and motor vehicle collided at the Hendrik Potgieter Road and 14th Avenue intersection in Constantia Kloof.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found the taxi lying on its side on a slip-road. The motor vehicle had come to rest in the middle of the intersection.
On assessment, paramedics found that only the occupants of the taxi had sustained minor injuries. Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and transported some of them to the Helen Joseph Hospital and others to a private hospital.
Traffic was heavily affected by the collision.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
