Numerous shoppers going for a Sunday stroll recently ended up with their hearts in their throats.
This comes after a driver lost control of his vehicle in the parking lot of the Pick n Pay shopping complex on CR Swart Road.
Horrified shoppers watched as the vehicle hurtled towards the busy hairdressing salon and other shops.
Fortunately, the vehicle was stopped by the barrier in front of the shops, but its momentum caused it to tip onto its left side, against a pillar.
No injuries were reported.
