Maragon Private Schools have another achievement to celebrate.
The schools’ U/13A netball team finished in the top 10 when they participated in the recent GSS Championships (Gauteng Championships). The competition took place on the courts of Pretoria Girls’ High. Maragon finished in ninth position, making their coach, David Maree very proud.
Maragons’ achievements in Pretoria come after they won the school league and finished in first place in the Jomo (Johannesburg and Mogale) Championships earlier this month, thus qualifying for the GSS Championships.
âTheir commitment, passion for the game and team spirit certainly contributed to their achievements. At Maragon we also have the unconditional support of parents, teachers and our headmistress. Thank you to all the supporters who were 100 per cent behind this team all the way to the endâ, he said.
