The vehicle, a red BMW, that was used in what is believed to have been an attempted hijacking on Monday night, has been spotted again.
A red BMW, silver Polo, white BMW and white bakkie tried to push a female resident off the road on Monday night after a wild chase that started on 14th Avenue and ended on Ouklip Road. Now reports of more sightings have come in.
Woman survived sinister hijacking ordeal
Last night (9 June) a member of the Roodepoort crime fighting fraternity said the red BMW and the VW Polo were seen on CR Swart Road, then on Mimosa Street and finally on Wag ‘n Bietjie Street. When the occupants saw the neighbourhood watch patrollers they fled. This time the two vehicles had no registration plates.
In Wilgeheuwel the red BMW was also identified positively by its registration plates.
At least three other source allege that the red BMW might be linked to drug dealing.
