Information needed on hit-and-run

Londoloza Protection Group is urgently looking for more information regarding a hit-and-run where one of their security guards was fatally injured.

According to Ivan Ryan, the officer was walking home on Hendrik Potgieter Road at around 6am on the morning of 8 June when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and sped away. “He was working an extra shift at a complex the night before and was walking home when the incident happened,” said Ryan.

Ryan said that they appeal to any member of the public to come forward if they have information that could assist in tracking the driver of the vehicle down.
