29-year-old alleged child rapist to appear in court
Man allegedly groomed the two girls over a period of time.
A 29-year-old man who is accused of raping two girls aged 12 and 14 respectively will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court today (10 June).
It is believed that he will apply for bail.
According to a source close to the family the man was arrested in Florida on Wednesday after the two girls had told a family member about their ordeal. The man allegedly groomed his two victims over a period of time. Incriminating WhatsApp messages allegedly were found on his phone.
The case is being investigated by the Child Protection Unit (CPU).
