Businesses to host fundraiser fun day for sick boy

All proceeds will be donated

The businesses in what is fondly known as the ‘Fat Boys’ Centre will soon be holding a fundraiser fun day for Danté Smit who suffers from Schinzel-Giedion syndrome.

Fat Boys Pub and Restaurant, and all the other businesses in the little centre, will donate all their proceeds on the day to Dante’s family to cover his extensive medical bills. Bevonk and Jan Buys of The Old Farts will supply the music. There will be food available and market stalls. There will also be VW Beatle and Vespa exhibition.

Security for vehicles will be provided on the day. Fat Boys Pub and Restaurant is situated at 93c Mimosa Street, in Wilro Park. The event starts at 10am on 25 June.

Anyone interested in renting a stall can contact Astrid Guntenhoner on 084 560 5612.
