Yesterday morning, 2 June at about 8am a body was found on the railway tracks at Roodepoort Railway Station.
The discovery came after two Roodepoort Police constables had received an anonymous tip-off. According to Roodepoort Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Nonhlanhla Khumalo, the deceased person had no form of identification on him. The cause of his death will be determined by an autopsy..
According to Khumalo an inquest docket was opened.
