D12 hosts the District Trials where the following years U/12 and U/13 boys and girls hockey players are selected.
All the schools from the D12 District send players forward to trials and this is done over two days for both age groups at the end of the each season.
For the 2016 season the U/13 Boys and Girls are playing a Festival in Witbank over 4 days.
The U/12 Boys and Girls are playing in an Inter-provincial tournament in Pietersburg against other U/12 Provincial teams from Northern Gauteng, Eastern Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
These young players play in their tournaments during the July holidays.
Maragon has a number of representatives in D12 District teams in both the U/12 and U/13 age groups.
We wish them good luck for this season and we know that they will make us proud. Well done boys and girls on this great achievement.
