The slain Hanle Lategan’s employer, Glenn Norton, who is the CEO of RE/MAX Masters briefly spoke to the News after Lategan was brutally murdered last night.
Lategan, who is an estate agent, was set to meet a potential client for a viewing last night when she disappeared.
“It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today. Last night Hanle Lategan did not arrive for a 6pm appointment. A search was immediately conducted and the local and real estate community immediately began spreading the message of her disappearance. It is with much sadness that I bring you the horrendous news that Hanle’s body was recovered earlier this morning.”
Norton described the incident as absolutely tragic.
“She was described as a friend to many and the shocking news of her murder rocked the foundation of the community to the core. Let’s not speculate about what might have happened or who may have perpetrated this heinous crime. Instead I urge you to be there as a support for each other over the next few days and weeks. I ask you to hold Hanle’s family in your thoughts and prayers that they might find peace in the future and I ask you to pray for Hanle as she is taken to a far better place than you or I currently live in. May she rest in peace,” his statement concluded.
