Maragon boys to play for Gauteng

RUIMSIG - Southern Gauteng has selected four Maragon boys to join their ranks.

Maragon Rumisig High School is very proud to announce a record number of hockey players have been selected for the Southern Gauteng provincial teams.

The boys selected for the U14 team are Nabeel Bodhania, Munashe Hakutangwi and Atlegang Serero while Cameron Funnell was selected for the U16 team.

“I am proud to represent Maragon at such a prestigious level,” said U14 player, Nabeel Bodhania. Adding to Bodhania’s sentiments, Cameron Funnell, said, “To make a southern Gauteng team is an honour and a privilege. To represent Gauteng opens doors for the future.”

The boys now have the opportunity to play in the inter-provincial teams’ matches at the end of June and July, such as the U16 A and B teams matches at

St Johns College or the U14 combined team from Southern Gauteng, Eastern Gauteng and Northern Gauteng matches in Durban.
