WARNING: Planned power interruption

JOBURG - Planned power outage to affect the greater Roodepoort area on 26 and 27 May.

City Power has made a public announcement of a planned power interruption in a large part of Johannesburg on 26 May.

According to City Power, the power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on the network which is part of a programme that is constantly striving to provide better service.

The interruption will take place from 11pm on 26 May until 6am on the morning of 27 May. As the supply may be restored at any time, residents are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.

The affected areas will include:

• Weltevredenpark

• Constantia Kloof

• Ontdekkerspark

• Ruimsig

• Discovery

• Honeydew

• Laserpark

• Wilgeheuwel

• Strubens Valley

• Amarosa

• Ruimsig

• Helderkruin

• Roodekrans

• Horison View
