“Nurses are the backbone of our business and at the forefront of allowing the group to deliver on our vision of being a world class provider of healthcare for all. We make use of our skills and resources to contribute to a resilient health system in each community where our hospitals are situated throughout South Africa,” said Dr Sharon Vasuthevan, Group Nursing Executive at Life Healthcare.

Life Healthcare Group celebrated its Great 100 nurses recently of which some were from Life Flora Clinic. These nurses epitomise the Group’s core values and the international standards as echoed in the nurses pledge and demonstrated quality care that contributes to each patients’ experience of Life Healthcare facilities. The group delivers healthcare services with the guiding principle of CARE, which is a programme designed to drive a culture of being more mindful, thoughtful and compassionate as they engage with patients.

“CARE is a fundamental part of how we deliver market leading healthcare services at Life Flora Clinic. We place great value on ensuring

that our patients are treated with respect, dignity and the empathy required and our nurses are at the forefront of providing this patient-centric care,” said Vasuthevan.
