Charterhouse Preparatory School pupils expressed their gratitude to their mothers for all they have done for them with a special assembly for their ‘supermoms’ before Mother’s Day.
Mothers took their seats on the school field on 6 May while the pupils participated in performances by the school choir, drama club, vocal club and the marimba band. The assembly was led by the Grade 7 monitors, who also shared snippets of the ‘supermom’ moments in their lives.
“Our traditional Mother’s Day assembly was touching. While moms took their place around the school field on a fresh, beautiful Friday morning, children gathered to fill hearts with messages and songs of love and gratitude,” said Charterhouse Preparatory School principal, Natalie Thwaits.
