Pupils in Team South Africa

Pupils make their school and province proud

Pupils from Maragon Private School in Ruimsig participated in the MSC International Talent Competition during March.

The competition was held on the MSC Simfonia Cruise Ship.

The diverse groups represented at the competition were able to participate in numerous different categories.

Maragon pupils Charnay Bean, Luca Roets, Tatiana Leontiou, Hanno Janse van Vuuren and Anastasia Leontiou, performing on the Simfonia, had received South African colours last year for the 2014/2015 season.

However, the international event was postponed until March this year.

During the new 2015/2016 season of this competition, the pupils entered and qualified once again to compete at the Gauteng nationals of the competition to qualify for Team South Africa.

Nienke Janse van Vuuren, Hanno Janse van Vuuren, Nicola Henley and Crystal Wills made it into the South African team and will be representing the country at the international leg of the competition later this year.
