A local author launches second book

After receiving positive feedback for his previous book Hard Lessons of Life and Self Healing, local author Raphael Ogbuagu has returned with his latest offering titled

“I was inspired to continue writing. This book is meant to give hope to people who are on the verge of throwing in the towel. It is meant to liberate the soul of those who are on the brink of collapse emanating from frustration, bitterness and disappointment,” said Raphael.

He believes he may not have the flair of a good writer or sees himself in the same league as the movers and shakers of the writing industry.

“However, what I write is a revelation given to me by God in my dreams and thoughts. This is my contribution to mankind. I believe that when you put your mind to your writing, it will be worthy of being read,”he said.

The first part of the book consists of quotes of famous people. This is to uplift the readers’ soul and well being by inspiring positive thinking.

The second part is meant to motivate and touch people’s day to day life. The chapters are about empowerment and liberation of those who are going through a hard time.

The book also includes a section on relationships. It consists of advice on how to make your relationship work. The final section is about laughter medicine.

I have come to learn that in life, it is not everybody who will give approval for what you do and how you do it.

After having taken the time to do research on various the above mentioned topics, Raphael is optimistic the content of his book will unlock the soul of mankind through words of wisdom and laughter. By reading this book, it is hoped that this will also strengthen relationships and marriages. This is critical given the high rate of marriage breakdown in our society.

“In the process, our children, who are the future leaders of tomorrow, are affected negatively. I invite you to read and recommend this book to your family, colleagues, friends and anyone that you know who is on the verge of throwing in the towel,” he said.
