Allthough the police has not yet confirmed it, Apcan Security has released an official statement based on their intelligence, stating the notorious ‘Merc gang’ had been arrested.
“Information has just been received that the vigilante group better known as the “Merc Gang” who has been involved in various crimes ranging from armed house robbery to attempted murder, and who has also been terrorising the West Rand area, had been apprehended in the Randburg area at roughly 4.45pm this afternoon (26 April).
According to information currently at our disposal the suspects were arrested by the Police’s Trio Task Team following extensive investigation,” read the statement.
