Tee off for Miss Teen SA Cilene

Help a local beauty represent South Africa overseas.

Miss Teen SA, Cilene Swanepoel who hails from Hoërskool Florida needs your help to get to Los Angeles this July.

She wants to go represent South Africa in the World Championships of Performing Arts, which commences on 7 July. She’s a local beauty who has worked very hard to support her community, but now depends on their support for her next successful venture.

A golf day fundraiser is being organised in this regard for Wednesday 18 May at the CMR Golf Club. The format of the day will be a better ball stableford. The organisers, Jeb Insurance Brokers, are appealing to the community in assisting them with financial donations or prizes towards the golf day. Ideally the sponsored prizes will be in pairs or sets of four. Prizes in the line of wine, golf balls, golf equipment, vouchers, electronic kitchen appliances, gift packs and tools would be ideal.

Companies can also sponsor a hole of their choice, where they can display their banners and flags on the day as well as possibly laying down a challenge for the specific hole. Holes can be sponsored at R3 500 each.

The cost per fourball amounts to R2 000 which includes halfway, dinner and a prizegiving. Teams will be formed for unmatched players, so single participants can register as well.

Reservations can be made with Elize de Bruyn on 082 442 2844 or Eugene Swanepoel on 082 410 2117.
