Kloofendal to launch its official flower book
See how many of the wild flowers you can identify on Saturday.
Later today (Saturday 23 April) the official launch of Imaged List of Wild Flowers in Kloofendal Nature Reserve by Dr Jan van Wyk, the booklet, will be launched at the reserve’s Ecological Centre.
The event is to officially start at 11am, at which time an author, Dr Kevin Gill will present ‘People and plants in the Magaliesberg’.
At 11.45am the author himself, Dr Van Wyk will present his new booklet, which will go on sale from 12 noon. At 12.30pm refreshments will be served, followed by a talk on wild flowers at 1pm.
Residents and nature enthusiasts are also invited to walk through the reserve afterwards and see if they can identify flowers with the new booklet.
