‘White Merc’ gang: “They taunted my mother-in-law”

They have been watching the house two days in a row.

A resident of Serrisa Street believes the ‘White Merc’ gang has been watching her house the past two days.

The first incident was yesterday (21 April) when her mother-in-law noticed three males sitting in a vehicle, similar to the one used in the other crimes connected to the notorious gang, watching from across the road. After a while the vehicle left.

At around 8am today her mother once again noticed the vehicle parked at the corner of the street with a view of their house. Again they left but returned. This time they brazenly pulled into the driveway. She let the dogs into the front yard, phoned her son and asked him to come home.

“White Merc”gang strikes again

As her son pulled up the street the men spotted him and drove off. Her son stayed a while but due to other obligations had to leave. Just as he left the three men in the Mercedes-Benz returned. Again they pulled into the driveway. The elderly woman alleged that she made eye contact with them and could see them “pointing at the house and laughing”.

“It was liked they taunted my mother-in-law,” said the resident.

Roodekrans Neighbourhood Watch was called and DMS Security dispatched a vehicle to investigate.
