Rubbernecking after accident leads to more collisions

One driver taken to hospital.

The wet roads and a dose of curiosity left four vehicles damaged yesterday afternoon

A young woman was travelling down Wilgerood Road in the direction of Krugersdorp when she lost control of her vehicle on the bend before the Ouklip Road intersection. She hit the traffic island and despite the vehicle rolling she came off unscathed. After paramedics have assessed her she told them she would wait for her mother to fetch her.

About half an hour later her mother arrived in a Mercedes-Benz but as she was about to pull over a woman in a Toyota crashed into the back of her vehicle. In turn a woman in a VW Polo rear-ended the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital.
