Roads littered with rocks.

Motorists are advised to avoid all the roads surrounding Princess informal settlement.

Disgruntled residents have taken to the streets after Metro Police, Roodepoort Police and City Power disconnected the settlements illegal electricity connections. The roads are littered with rocks and the remains of burned objects such as tyres. A high chance also exist that vehicles will be pelted with rocks.

Ontdekkers Road, Progress Road and Corlett Avenue should be used as alternative routes.
