Young ones showcase their talent

WELTEVREDEN PARK - Parents support pupils of Agape Christian School as they showcase their talent.

Agape Christian School in Weltevreden Park hosted a talent show for their pupils at Allen Glen High School in March. It was a day that showcased great, young talent and made about 400 proud parents extremely proud.

According to the secretary, Theresa Jennings, 65 children took part in the show, including Grade 1 and 2s and the school choir. “Any child could take part, but had to audition first,” explained Jennings. The pupils did many different routines, ranging from singing, dancing, poem reciting and piano playing. Jennings added that they had a great surprise. “Three boys that use to come to this school, the Martins brothers, surprised us with a break dance routine,” said Jennings.

They are now pupils of The King’s School in Robin Hills. The one brother, Damilolo Martin is now the head boy of the King’s School. “The talent was outstanding. One of the dancers had strobe lights attached to her costume, so it looked amazing with the lights off,” concluded Jennings.
