Local police did not rest on their laurels over Easter weekend.
During stop and search operations 62 criminals were taken off the streets. Arrests were made for crimes including malicious damage to
property, fraud, possession of stolen goods, housebreaking and theft, theft , theft out of a motor vehicle, possession of dagga, assault GBH and common assault.
The suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station and will appear in Roodepoort Magistrates Court soon.
