A truck and taxi that collided on Main Reef Road in Rand Leases earlier yesterday morning (23 March) left 13 people injured.
ER24 paramedics found the truck a few metres away on the side of the road while the taxi was on its side on the pavement. On assessment they found that the driver of the truck and 12 occupants from the taxi had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The patients were treated and transported to various hospitals.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene to investigate.
