Update: More footage surfaces of ‘Black Audi’ killers

CPFs warned to be on the lookout.

Witpoortjie residents are urged to exercise extreme caution and be on high alert as the alleged ‘Black Audi’ killers have been spotted again.

A resident of Lichtenstein Street saw the Audi with a group of men at a park on the street on Saturday. The men allegedly were drinking beer. For reasons unknown they then moved the vehicle to the other side of the street. Although the resident thought their behaviour was suspicious he did not make much of it. Only when seeing the reports on the Record’s website he put two and two together. The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and he will pass it on to the Record and authorities shortly, as he believes the vehicle’s registration plate is visible.

The same gang is believed to have been involved in two armed robberies on Monday. A 68-year-old was murdered during one of the incidents.

The Record also passed on the information to the relevant neighbourhood watches and CPFs. Western Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) said they now will look for the vehicle pro-actively.

The suspects are armed and dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
