The advent of the wet weather predicted is keeping tow truckers and emergency services busy.
Yesterday at around 4pm the driver of a Jeep lost control on the bends down Ruhama Drive close to Banket Avenue. The vehicle hit a barrier and ended up on top of another vehicle. Help24 and ER24 were on the scene but no one was injured.
In an incident this morning a taxi caught fire and burnt out on Nic Diederichs Boulevard in Ruimsig. There were no passengers in the vehicle as the driver was on his way to pick up school children. The cause of the fire is unknown. The driver was not injured.
