Trial set for West Ridge juveniles
Juveniles to be tried for the severe assault of a fellow pupil at the end of March.
The trial of three juvenile suspects allegedly involved in an assault at West Ridge High School is set to start on Wednesday 30 March, the court heard today.
The three underage boys appeared briefly in Court J today (Wednesday 2 March) on charges of assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and attempted murder. They stand accused of severely assaulting a 17-year-old fellow pupil on 10 November, to the point where he was admitted to the ICU at Life Flora Clinic.

The case was opened with the Roodepoort Police but was investigated by Sergeant Sibeko of the Honeydew Cluster’s Child Care Unit.
