Constantia Kloof Primary School hosted another round of the swimming gala on Friday (26 February).
Swimmers from Maragon Private School, Risidale Primary School and North West Christian School competed for the number one spot.
The competition is for swimmers in the B team to get a chance to improve their skills and compete in actual competition.
Each swimmer scored points for their school, first position holding 8 points.
Swimmers starting from U/8 to U/13 participated in their different disciplines such as freestlye, breast stroke and backstroke.
To finish off the event, a ladder relay took place. North West took the crown with a mammoth 674 points, blowing all the other teams out of the water.
The home team Constantia Kloof came in second place with 465 points. Third place went to Risidale with 361 points followed by Maragon who accumulated 299 points.
Constantia Kloof will host a night gala on the 10 March followed by the West Rand Gala on 15 March which will have 8 schools competing.
