Minors attempt to rape girl
One suspect already has cases against him.
Yesterday (25 February) at around 4pm West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) was dispatched to Oranje Street after they received information that a young girl had been robbed. The attackers allegedly also attempted to rape her.
The two suspects, believed to be minors, fled into the field behind Hoërskool Bastion with the stolen cellphone.
WSRNW patrollers gave chase and caught them.
According to one source one of the suspects already had cases against him and was out on supervision.
The girl sustained only minor injuries to her knee.
