Parts of Witpoortjie, in particular near the business area, are experiencing loss of water supply today.
A resident complained she has no water in Haynes Street while businesses in Generaal Pienaar and Ham Streets are also affected.
The Record has escalated the issue to Joburg Water and is awaiting feedback.
Region C’s depot manager, Gert Jacobs, confirmed no planned interruption was scheduled for the area today. He said a team is on their way to investigate the cause.
