Maragon show their love with water

Maragon gave the gift of water to a Free State school for Valentine's.

Maragon Primary School came together and collected 16 558 litres of water this month.

The initiative was to help supply water to Primêre Skool Senekal in the Free State.

The idea came from Quinton Mulder who had a vision to help the Free State school.

He got pupils, parents and teachers to collect water in the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day.

The school pupils exchanged their traditional red and white outfits for blue and white in support of the water drive.

On 13 February at 5am, pupils, parents and teachers loaded the trucks and drove three hours to Senekal.

As they arrived, they were warmly welcomed by the staff of Primêre Skool Senekal and were very appreciative.
