On Monday night, 15 February, West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood (WSRNW) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) at which they elected their new executive committee.
The WSRNW are enthusiastic about the year ahead with big plans for both improving the safety of their area as well as projects to give back to the community.
The new executive committee are:
⢠Matthys van Rensburg (Chairperson)
⢠John Moss (Vice Chairperson)
⢠Queen van Staden (Treasurer)
⢠Annette van Rensburg (Projects and Assets)
⢠Frik van Zyl (Public Relations)
⢠Ronel van Jaarsveld (Secretary)
⢠Anthony Crocker (Information Manager)
⢠Manny Alho (Patrol Manager)
Anyone who wants to join up can go to their control room at 82 Koeberg Extension on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6pm and 8pm or call Frik van Zyl for more information on 084 581 9223.
There is a once off registration fee of R100. It costs R250 for a six month membership or R500 for a year membership. A radio costs around R1200.
