Two more days of power outages
16 more hours without power in some areas of Roodepoort while maintenance is done.
City Power scheduled essential maintenance for two more days in Roodepoort, bringing the total time without electricity for the period to 16 hours.
On Thursday 18 February and Wednesday 24 February parts of Roodepoort will again be off the grid between 10pm and 6am the following mornings to allow for essential maintenance to be done, the entity in a press statement said. They warned that residents should take care around electricity supply points and treat them as live at all times, as the supply may be restored at any time.
On Thursday 18 February:
Areas affected include Constantia Kloof Ext 5 and 6 and Weltevreden Park Ext 12, 13 and 45.
On Wednesday 24 February:
Areas affected include Little Falls, Wilgeheuwel, Strubens Valley and Hadeco Nursery.
