GALLERY: 34 years of love

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Agapeland Nursery School celebrates its 34th birthday.

It was a day of celebration for the pupils of Arrows of Destiny Christian Academy as they not only celebrated Valentine’s Day but also their sister school, Agapeland Nursery School’s 34th anniversary.

Pupils and teachers alike were decked out in their best red and white outfits in recognition of the day – not only for receiving love but for giving love too. The pupils all looked fantastic as they sat around the school grounds enjoying a lovely packed picnic with their friends. Sharing, laughing and giving as the merriment called for.

Agapeland Nursery School turning 34 years seemed to be the cherry on top of the very delectable cake. Principal of the school, Jeanette Porter, said that the school prides itself in its God-centred roots, showing love to all without a question. “We love to share our God-centred love with not just our partners and people who love us back, but also with those who have lack and sadness in their lives,” said Porter.

She went on to add that there was nothing more inspiring than to see a beautiful Valentine’s cake that everyone could share. She went to add that it was all in remembrance of a school which she feels has been an instrument of blessing to the many pupils who have passed through the school’s doors over the past 34 years.
