On Wednesday (10 February), at around 8am, members of Roodepoort Police were performing their duties patrolling when they spotted three suspicious looking males walking along Schulz Street.
The suspects pretended to be looking for an address. Police stopped them and asked to search them to which they agreed. They found a pistol with the serial number filed off on one of the suspects. All suspects admitted the firearm belonged to them.
The suspects were arrested and detained at Roodepoort Police Station.
