Woman shot at a railway station
Domestic workers advised to not use railway bridge.
A woman was shot at last night when three suspects robbed her at gunpoint.
Members of the CPF coincidentally heard a female screaming when they called back-up and rushed to her aid. They found the woman while she was being robbed. One of the three suspects fired a shot at the woman and ran across the railway bridge. They managed to escape in a white Isuzu double cab bakkie. The woman came off unscathed.
The CPF has asked residents who live in and around the Florida Lake and Hamberg area, to encourage their domestic workers not to use the Hamberg Train Station bridge as a crossing as this is not the first incident that occurred at the railway station.
