Extraterrestrial Culture Day is celebrated on 9 February after the Roswell incident in mid 1947.
The conspiracy was created after a US Air Force surveillance weather balloon crashed into a ranch near New Mexico. This prompted claims alleging the crash was of an alien spaceship.
The day celebrates and honours all past, present and future extraterrestrial visitors in ways that will enhance relationships among all citizens of the cosmos, known and unknown.
