Prestigious music festival entries draw to a close

Entries for performers are now open to participate at the which will be held next year from.

The aim of the festival is to create a great platform for people to perform life and get valuable feedback from professional adjudicators.

This is an initiative founded on February 1st 1991. The management of West Rand Music Festival has resided with Western Ensemble’s Board form 2012.

Western Ensemble was registered as a non-profit company in 2012.

“After every performance, they are handed back their mark sheets that are filled in while they are on stage and then feedback by adjudicators is given to them,” organiser Gordon Woods.

Participants also receive certificates for competing and will also be part of the a prize-giving ceremony where winners of every categories are honoured.
