At around 7pm on Monday a member of the public made a startling discovery when he came across a body in a veld.
The female body was discovered in the veld at the corner of Ketel and Bunker Streets. The Florida CPF Sector Two quickly closed of the area in order for the police forensics team to conduct their investigation.
At this stage the age and identity of the body is unknown and it is also uncertain whether any foul play was involved.
The Record is currently awaiting Florida Police’s comment.
