It has been more than two months since Sparrow Ministries Aids Village since a tree destroyed their bakery.
This happened a huge storm uprooted one tree and caused it to fall narrowly missing the groundskeeper.
This also damaged the Village’s Nursery and caused it to close down as they waited for the removal of the fallen tree.
Three trees uprooted at Sparrow Ministries
Now they are pleading with the public for anyone else to remove the rest of the trees that are unstable as the last one that fell.
“We fear a domino effect if another tree were to be uprooted. We have approached several people to try and help us but unfortunately it seems no help has arrived,” said the Villages managing director Ricus van den Berg.
The Village’s residents have now been living in fear as the rest of the trees are just as unstable.
The area’s councilor Dave Dewes sent helpers to remove the fallen tree and indicated that he is still waiting for more assistance to remove the trees that are an imminent danger.
