KLOOFENDAL – Ward 85 Councillor Carl Mann is ready to ensure municipal service runs smoothly ahead of this year’s municipal elections.
Ward 85 Councillor Carl Mann is adamant that mutual communication would lead to an adequate service delivery in his ward.
Councillor Mann stressed on 15 January that although this year would be a busy year due to elections, he would ensure that residents are assisted.
He emphasised that residents should record his contact details and feel free to contact him any time when they require assistance with issues related to municipal service delivery.
“Any issues related to municipal bills, smart meters, potholes, parks, street lights and all municipal basic service-related obstacles which need to be addressed, I will attend to them,” he explained.
He continued that resident’s association meetings were of paramount importance and urged residents to call him so he would attend those meetings. “Residents should let me know about their meetings and I will attend them,” he said.
Speaking about the local government elections scheduled for this year, the councillor emphasised that residents should check and confirm that they are registered at the right place.
The councillor would be standing for and campaigning to lead the ward for another term and encouraged residents to go out and vote for a leader of their choice.
“Residents who are not clear about the registration and voting process should feel free to contact me and I will assist them,” insisted Mann.
