Visionary musician David Bowie dies at 69
Artist passes away three days after new album released.
The legendary musician and actor David Bowie passed away yesterday at the age of 69.
According to his publicist, Steve Martin, “Bowie died peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer”.
During his 40-year career Bowie was often controversial and constantly reinvented himself. From becoming the Ziggy Stardust persona to challenging gender stereotypes with his androgynous image. His last album, “Blackstar”, was released two days before his death on his Birthday.
