Round Table Florida 21 to help the farmers
Help them collect as much water as possible.
Round Table Florida 21 is hosting a water drive to collect water for the farmers in the North West and Free State to offer relief from the heat wave that is currently gripping the country.
According to public relations officer of Round Table Florida 21, Joseph Heckler the collection will take place on Sunday, 10 January at the Village @Horizon from 9am to 2pm.
“We will stand next to the pool place at the Village @Horizon were the old Keg used to be,” he said.Heckler added the organisation aims to collect at least 1000 litres of water which will be transported by truck to the farmers weekly for the next three weeks.
“We have about 400 Teddie Bears that we are willing to exchange for water. We appeal to the community to assist us with this project because the farmers are suffering.”
