Baby Adianna arrives just in time for Christmas
ROODEPOORT – Lizzie and Cashmore Muchaonyerwa welcomed their beautiful baby girl at Life Flora Clinic in Florida on Christmas day at 11:59.
The parents from Weltevreden Park named their baby Adianna. “We chose the name Adianna because it means gracious and that is exactly how we feel to have her,” said Cashmore.
Lizzie said her pregnancy had its ups and downs as baby Adianna was due on 9 December. “We were having a braai on Christmas eve when my water broke,” she said.
The birth went very smooth with no complications. Baby Adianna weighed 3.460kgs at birth, 52cm tall and had a 36cm head circumference.
The couple did however admit that they were hoping for a boy as they already have three other daughters. “I did not know the sex until two weeks before I gave birth and I was wishing for a boy, I did not believe the doctor when he said I am having another girl,” Lizzie said.
Cashmore added that this is the best Christmas present they could have wished for and that he would like to write a song for her. He was very excited and full of smiles when he held his daughter.
