Florida Police community service centre open

Channel for complaints available.

Florida Police Station is back to normal with the renovated community service centre (CSC) functioning.

The CSC caravan, visitors used the past few months, is now closed. To access the centre residents must make use of the pedestrian gate in the middle of the palisade fence. The driveway entrance is no longer in use unless you are visiting a specialised unit at the back of the station.

Florida CPF also asked to hear from the community regarding service delivery at the Florida Police Station.

“We realise there are many positive and negative stories regarding SAPS service delivery and we would like to receive this info so that we can address it with SAPS management. We must emphasize though that we would really like to see people giving us both the positive and negative stories,” a statement by the CPF reads.

“We find that in general the community write complaints very quickly but they never send us the good stories, please help us not only discipline the members but let us also build them up when they do good work,” it asks.

All feedback can be mailed to caleb@onflorida.org.za

Feedback should include as much info regarding the incident as possible, including but not limited to:

• Date and time

• Officers name and rank

• Vehicle call sign, eg: FD94

• Sector number called if applicable

• Physical location of call or specify if you were at the Community Service Centre at the station.

Should you not have all this info mail the CPF anyway as they can try trace the information.
